MP3-Cutter 4 is a tiny application that can be used to cut segments of MP3 files. Since the tool uses a frame aligned cut method, you don’t need to decode and then re-encode MP3 files during the cutting process.
The program is very easy to use and offers an intuitive interface. It is included with a project bin where it stores the imported MP3 files after scanning. These scanned files can be further processed in the cutter interface. Here you can set the starting and ending point of the frames. The tool also allows you to use the numeric part of the keyboard to work on the cutter interface. Once you are finished with the cutting task, you can either save it on the disk or put it in the ‘Cue List’. Further, you can write all the information (title, name of the artist, album name, genre, write a comment etc.) of the project. Above all, the tool is completely free to use.
The application is really helpful to get high quality results, but unlike other similar programs, MP3-Cutter doesn’t support advanced editing functions. For example, you won’t be able to add some special audio effects such as normalizing, adding, reverse, sample rate conversion etc to your MP3 file.
